i have a pg xenon 600.1 the sensitivity knob goes from .2 to 8 volts. i have a headunit that claims it has 5 volt pre-outs for sub, front, rear. I cant exactly tell where it is set, would setting this to high like around 7 volts make my amp not put out the power i think it should be putting out, and is there anyway to test exactly what the sensitivity is set to on the amp. i think right now it is set to 6.5-t volts. i am just trying to figure out why this 600 watt amp is barely moving my mag. thanx

setting it to high will make the amp potentially put out double power, however that would be a clipped signal and that is bad. your deck will not put out 5 volts rms. read the gain tutorial on how to set them. also .2 is actually turning the gain up. higher number equals lower gain
