Question about running 2 Subs Vs 1 Sub

no im simply stating that argument, id rather not get into a debate over what subs are good or bad, i have personally never heard the sa's but everyone seems to be getting their nuts as close to them as possible, so there must be something good about them. Another thing you should consider is box space, I could run 2 15s easily or 1 18, (which I will soon) but i dont have the proper airspace for 2 18s. i would be better off running 2 15s in a proper box over the 2 18s in a under sized box.
Yea I hear the same thing about them all the time. Anything you'd suggest that are in the same price point as the SAs?

And if I get 2 subs I'm getting a custom box built for them.. So no worries there

I mean for the price they are hard to beat, i personally would just buy one sub, cause i like single sub setups //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif but that's just me. You can't go wrong with Sundown, but you can also look into Digital Designs, Fi can be a little pricey. Everyone loves the AB xfl for some reason. IA, SSA, ID, lots of other great companies out there, just do your research, but im sure you will be happy with any of these companies.

Thanks man ill look into those! Any sub from 300-350 that you know is good that could handle 1500rms and ain't ****? Lol

There are benefits to a single sub setup, and benefits to a dual sub setup. Cone area is just one factor. I'm currently working on a build with 1 18, but will likely step down to 2 15's or even 2 12's in the near future.

In that price range I prefer Obsidian, but Sundown SA's are great subs too.

Tantric Sounds HD series. I will be running Tantric once I get my money straight and my mind made up regarding 4th order, etc.

I have a feeling I'm going to wind up with two Tantric Sounds HD 15's on a Crescendo 3500, but I'm waiting on T/S parameters.
