Question about RE-SE mounting specs

Trying to see if I can fit the 12's in my truck box that is set up for 10's now. It says 11.125" hole size. Given that spec how much overhang is needed for mounting? I think it will be tight there.

Also on the mounting depth of 6.75" is that to the very end of the sub? My box front is angles so I wonder if that could cause a problem?

I don't have a hole big enough yet to fit it in.

best way to do it is put the sub in there....i cut the hole to low on my box so the back of the sub hit the bottom so i got a couple of MDF rings
