Question about RCA cables

New to the forum, and after i have looked all over the internet and tried many different keywords in search i have come up with nothing, so i figured i would ask on here since yall probably have more info on this subject.

I recently got a new CD player for my car, everything is fine and dandy. Fits great.... until u plug the RCA cable in.... then the cd player sticks out more than it should. I know i could use a mounting kit that would allow more room for this but i dont really want my cd player to stick out an inch to an inch in a half... The connectors on the RCA cable is too long and hits the back of the cubby hole and keeps me from being able to place the CD player all the way in my dash.

What i need is a RCA cable with shorter connector (the plug part) or even one with a elbow or 90 degree angle at the connector. i guess i have the standard size if thats possible. Anyone know of shorter RCA cables?

Open to all suggestions here... i didnt have this issue with my last cd player, it must have been shorter then the new one but it sat flush to the dash and didnt even stick out a little. It was stolen so i cant go back to the old CD player

I think Rockford had some with 90* bends. Otherwise, you could just use 90* adapters (less preferable in my opinion as it's just one more thing to introduce noise or cause issues). Have you seen what they are making contact with? Is it anything you can cut out without f-ing other stuff up?

op if you really need some i have some that are even shorter than the ones white dragon posted. otherwise what your rcas are hitting is probally the factoy radio support, and can almost always be taken out via 3-4 bolts, just feel around in there. had the same problem in my fiances ford turaus.

I've actually already cut out the factory support when I put the original CD player in... the cords are actually hitting the heater case. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, when I have some down time tomorrow at work ill start checking them out.
