Question about Rainbow amp

I got my 4-channel Rainbow amp in the mail and i noticed that it doesn't have remote gain. I know it doesnt have crossovers, but I don't get why no gain knob. Does anyone know why this is?

maybe i didn't phrase it right, i meant the gain that is used to match the input voltage (?) from the head unit to the amp. I hope that clears it up.

Whats the big deal? I mean you can do it from the amp right? Maybe they expect most people to buy the 4 channel eq.

No, that's what i mean, there is no gain knob on the amp itself.

Right - I think there is a jumper on the board to switch between 2 input voltages, there is an external processor board available that has adjustable gain.

Strange design, supposed to be good amps.
