question about putting subs to close to each other

back to back, as in magnet to magnet? the magnets together would interfere im pretty sure, idk why you would wanna do this and i wanna see the box your doing it with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/needpics.gif.edd6d28e76618c28c46f343991bcced5.gif

im trying to fit 2 12" L7's in my truck and it would be a huge task just to fit 10"s im talking a full fiberglass console just to hold 2 12"s

hhm after thinking about it i could do Cone to cone with about 5 inches inbetween them but i would prefer to mount magnet to magnet if i could figure out what distance is safe to do it like that?

no not without removing my rear seat and i really dont want to remove it ...

i dont mind making a console that crouds whoevers sitting in the middle but i always end up with more than 2 people in my truck

There's no problem with the magnets very close together, the motors are typically set up so that the magnetic path is in saturation (it as "magnetic" as it's going to get), another similar strength motor near by cannot effect it.
