Question about my options

I used to be scared about CJ replying to any of my threads within 10 sec. and dealing with the sarcasm!!! Now i'm afraid that somehow it will end up with some comparison with the TYPE R sub!!! ANYWAY i'm about to put my 15'' sub (won't say what brand lol) in the trunk of my honda accord. I know that trunks are not the best scenario compare to hatchback. i don't have rear fills, so just empty holes in there. even if i pull down the rear seat my box pretty much covers the area open. What about those abs pipes( can't remember how they're called "ports"?) Any succesfull story with them, are they worth investigating?

are you saying you want to put pipes in your box? try deadening the rear deck and leave the speakers out so it's like a ported rear deck. also is your trunk deadened?
Yes my entire trunk is deadened, if i pull down the back seat, it's definatly louder obviously and i have no rear fills(no speakers in the rear deck) i have seen people using something that looks like an abs tube that i guess they stuck to the holes of the rear deck so the trunk is like a big box and these tubes are used as ports. should i bothered with trying them or what? thanks for the response:D

For those of you wondering what ABS is. Its the black plastic sewage and drain pipe.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i would make a baffle that seals off the trunk from the cabin (as air tight as it can be), cut a hole the diameter of your sub. mount your baffle in the car, fire your sub into the car through the baffle, screw the baffle to the box.
