question about motors

ok i want to change either my mt or dd to a 12, what do i need to look for in a basket to make sure it will work with my motor?

12 spoke will work with your mt motor 4 spoke will work on your dd motor

so a 4 spoke ED e12k basket wouldnt work with the mt?
