i just bought 2 kicker 07cvr's from
crutchfield (buy one get on free) and i was gonna get a hifonics amp for them but my buddy came by with a fusion amp.... never heard of this kind of amp so i hooked it up and then looked it up on the net its the pa-am20001 and rated at 1150watts rms x1 ohm which is way more than what i need so i figured what the hell wut u want for it he says 150$ so i cant really beat that so i bought it and idk sumthin is wierd idk if its the subs/amps/electrical system/box or what but the amp does not hit the lows at all its like i cant hear almost or the high bass but i dont need the high bass but the mid bass its slams omg its loud but that doesnt matter if its not gonna hit lows that the best part. i also have a volt meter and it runs from 14.1 to 12.9 and the box i have atm is very small(im waiting on my new one) or maybe it could be because kciker says the CVR's should have a 2 week break in period ( what is the best way to break the speakers in) or maybe it could just be the amp whos knows which is why i am asking u guys so plz plz help me out any suggestions anything would be nice i have the subsonic filter set to like 10 hz cuz i thought that blocking out the lows....nope the 180 phase control is off amp gain is about 3/8's up bass boost is almost half way and i even turned the LP filter up thinking maybe thats why theres no high bass and nothing its the same so i have no clue at all im hoping its just the box but im not sure so plz any help would be awesome thanks guys
edit* i finished my box so its not the box could it be because i have the gain turned down so much cuz its so powerful could that be why its not ******* enough power for the lows maybe? idk but it says 456 watts rms at 1 chan but the amp is a 2 chan amp.... so does that mean 456 at 2 or what and the speaker terminals are pos pos neg neg instead of pos neg pos neg.... never seen that before so idk what all that means but all i want is the 456 goin to both cvr's do i hook them up series and then to each channel or what? idk
