question about forward projection with sealed box

Im pondering going a more SQ setup at the moment. I am just a little worried about using a sealed box with the projection i have.

Anyways, the box will be build into the bed of the truck (chevy avalanche), so the only firing direction i will have will be forward, into the rear seats. My issue with this is the only sealed enclosure i've used, comparing it pointing forward to backward, was drastic. This was a prefab box in a ford explorer, but nonetheless, im still curious.

Im looking to go SQ, maintain the ability to play low notes, and be loud (obviously not as loud as what i have now, but i want to get close as possible).

Should i expect a loss in output with a sealed enclosure pointed forward?

"Firing forward" in and of itself is not inherently bad.

I would however not expect overwhelmingly great results if you were to have the subwoofers firing forward directly behind the rear seats, which is what I interpreted your post to be saying.
