question about fiberglass enclosure.

i got may rings cut with an inner diameter of 11 1/4". im getting 4 ma audio compitition 12"s.(120XE) i think!! and on maaudio's website, that speaker's mounting diameter is 11.4". my thinking was that if it was 11.5", that would be 11 1/2" so i figured i could always remove alot easier than add material to the rings. Does this make any sence at all?? i will have pics on tomarrow (friday).

If you are talking about the mounting diameter, my alpine 12 is 10.9".

do you think that 1/8" on each side would mess up the mounting of the sub. mine are 11 1/4"
