question about electrical upgrades

well im about to do a few upgrades to my system i got a friend who is gettin me a 180 amp Excessive Amperage bolt on alt and im doing the big 3 and 0/1 wire by knu concepts do u think ill need like a 2400 kinetc in the back for a 1500 and 100.2 sundown? or should this be sufice? thanks

I don't think you'll need a battery in the back.

k i juess ill know if my lights dim lol but i think goign from a stock 80 amp alt to that 180 amp alt and replacing my 4-5 gauge wire with 0/1 gauge. then the big 3 i should see a difference there or i hope i will lol

I have a stock 130A alt with ~1000w RMS in amplifiers and an upgraded battery to ground wire (1/0awg). I can't see the dimming unless I stare at my dashboard at night.

extra/upgraded battery wouldnt hurt though. would lessen voltage drop front to back and help fill in the voids of when the system is drawing more than the alt is putting out at idle / low rpm or voltage regulator lag...plus adds key off listening

If you have the money you might as well add it. It wouldnt hurt anything and would strengthen your overall electrical system.
