Question About Creatine

30 min. before hand

then afterward of your workout take a protein shake

i gain 7lbs in less than 2 weeks...mainly because i stayed to working out.

dont bother taking creatine if you dont plan on working out on a daily schedule.

It really depends on the type of creatine when you take it if its a monohydrate i would recommend taking it while you work out (I would assume that this is what you have seeing as you bought it a Walgreen’s), but if its something like trac or v12 where it is combined with arginine and is in a time released formula you should take it about a half an hour before you work out. Also make sure that you cycle it go for about 4 to 5 weeks on then take a 2 week break but still working out. You should make sure that you drink lots of water while you are on it as well.

holy crap how big were you when you stopped! 30 lbs of water weight doesnt make sense to me, but hey....

 
i take it about 30 minutes before i work out. then i make a nice taste protein shake. i put 8 oz milk, a scoop and a half of whey protein, a banana, a spoon full of peanut butter, oats, and yogurt. oh yeah and some ice for fun.

doing this i gain about 1 to two pounds a week when i stick to it and eat plenty. it is getting harder right now to do that because of work but it is paying off.

make sure to drink lots of water while you are taking creatine because it can dehidrate(sp?) you.

 
your supposed to begin a loading phase fist. you take 4 evenly spaced out though out the day for one week and after that you can take just one dose a day and you should see results in 3 days. creatine is more of a strenght enhancer which puts more water into your muscle tussue. Trust me i take it for football and bodybuilding and i bench 310 lbs with out it and once on it 340lbs at the end of one month cycle. check out bodybuilding.com for more info.

loading does nothing it is just a waste of creatine you will just piss most of it out...
