ok i have a question for you guys...right now i have a 110A alternator, and i have a yellowtop up front...i still have my other nissan battery, should i put that upfront, and put the yellowtop in the back by the amp? would i benefit better or not because of not having a high output alternator? right now my voltage drops to like 13.0-13.8 so its not too bad, but i just figured id ask...one is a regular bettery the other is a optima yellowtop

Usually it's not a good idea to mix battery types, in this case lead acid and a sealed AGM battery.

I've seen it done before, so I know it can be done, but i've heard that it can lead to poor battery life due to different discharge rates, amperage rates, etc. No idea if there's any real truth to that though.

Maybe somebody else could chime in.

yea i already did the negative on teh big 3 in 0 gauge, i have to do the power wire, my voltage drops to like 13.0 but thats at idle...which isnt too bad, but i just didnt know if i would benefit putting my stock battery back in adn putting the yellowtop at the back
