question about bass remote knob

alright, say i have the gains set at 1/2 on the amp.

now, i plug in the knob, and turn the knob to MIN (amp gains still at 1/2) theres almost no bass. when i turn it to MAX, is it the same as my amp playing at full tilt with the gains at 1/2 if i didnt have the knob in?

did i make sense? its kinda hard to explain what im trying to say...

The remote you have is a remote gain not a bass boost...so it can only go as loud as your amp is adjusted....

That is how mine works. It is a remote gain control. All the way down, nothing. Turn it all the way up, it's the same as having the knob disconnected, because the gains are at the max setting yo uhave them set to on the amp.

btw its for a powerbass xa3000d, not the memphis 2500 in my sig...
