Question about AUX IN

i run my zune of aux in. on my jvc dub din deck...

i allways turn my deck up to 40-45. and adjust the volume at the zune.. rarely turn my zune up past 15, depending on the song....

my buddy said it's a bad idea to turn my zune up over 15 cause it will overdrive the aux in, input's....

yeay or nay????

Depends on the AUX IN really. They're not all the same. I've always heard to keep the volume at 75% for external units like iPods and stuff.

some have a low signal output, my creative is at 25/25 with no problems. most of the time if you hear distortion from headphones, its the peakers bieng pushed too hard. use a good set of headphones to determine your distortion points on the output and always turn the eq off on the mp3 player.

yea i have the eq on none on my zune.. i dont hear mutch distortion threw headphones whenever i do listen to the zune with headphones...

i allways have my deck at 40-45 volume. and then adjust the volume at the zune..

I would do 50 to 60% on the Zune and adjust your HU accordingly
