Question about Alpine MRA-F350 and PXA-701.

Stupid question but I must ask...

This what I was thinking of doing for my setup. Having an Optical from my source (computer) to the Alpine PXA-H701, then to the MRA-F350, then to my speakers. I want the H701 to handle the EQ, timing, etc.

Is it possible to set the two Alpine components up like I want? Can I pass the signal from the PXA to the F350 via the Ai-NET connector and still get the 5.1 I want?

Please help!?!?!?

running the comps passive or active? You would run a regular RCA from the 701 to the amp, but run the optical from the computer to the 701.

WOW!! Fast reply!!!

Here's the issue, I think. The MRA-F350 only has an optical in, an Ai-NET in, and an Ai-NET Changer. No RCA in.

Called Alpine today and I'm sure whoever read this would have know already but it can't be done...

Oh well. I guess I'll be getting to F345s and setting them up for the 5.1 I want.
