Question about a battery.

if you have a large system i wouldnt use an 800 under the hood (it can start a car easy though). depending on the wattage of your system will determin what you should get. generally 1400 up to 2400 gets put under the hood. when i look at a daily driver car with a system in it i always suggest going with capacity over everything because daily they dont care about .1's of db they just want something that works and can play longer with the engine off. kinetik 2400 is 128 ah and a deka 31 is 100 ah. if you are just shopping by price the deka is hard to beat.

I'd get this for a 2nd battery as you get a lot more for the $$$. Unless you're running a lot of power a decent replacement type batt is all you need up front.

so if I have a regular battery up front(idk what brand or anything, it is just a shitty battery that came in the monte), could I run that deka to the back and that would be okay? My system is around 1100 watts right now at 2 ohms to the sub, so do I NEED that in the back, or can i just replace my stock battery with that?
