Quantum Audio 3000W monoblock for $150; good or bad?

i was offered the quantum amp 3000W; 1200W @ 2 ohms for $150. Can anyone justify if this is a legit amp and a good deal??

Junk. Grossly overrated. In that price range get an MBQ or an Audiopipe

Id say crunch might be better than quantum. Crunch is a budget amp for sure. If you have 150$, get an Audiopipe 1500d

ok bc my friend was telling me about the crunch's but i'll look at audiopipe any other good ones around $150-170 that can do 1000W @ 1 channel 2 Ohms?

For that range, the audiopipe is a good bet. You might find a Hifonics Bxi1608d in that price range.

ok thanks man..since your the only one really answering my questions..i have the choice of 10" alpine type R's(which i currently own/have in my truck) or 2 memphis PR's that i could get..which is better? both would be in a custom box

Type Rs are the better sub. I could understand choosing the memphis for the increase in cone area tho(did u say the memphis were 12'?). It likely comes down to your personal taste in how the subs sound.

Yes, id say its a personal prefernce thing then. If the R's were 12s, Id say R's hands down. Its just whether u want 10s and 12s. Because despite the PRs being Memphis lower line, they are actually still decent subs

older Lanzar is good. Newer stuff is very overrated. The Opti line however, is very good. But the vibe, and max, and all that stuff is crap

Audiopipe subs are good budget subs. I wouldn't pay a lot for them though.

I cant comment...never had experience with them. Have actually heard that they are good for the price tho
