Since I don't post enough, here goes. Do you guys think that when companies are bought out the quality of the amp or sub changes. For example Soundstream was bought out by Power acoustic. I can't even find a sound stream dealer in my area any more. Precision Power bought out. Rumor is that the heat sinks in the amps are shaved down to cut cost. Is that why you see so many refurb's on ebay? I was at the shop comparing the Boston pro 12's to the Xtant hex 12's and I hear Xtant is being bought out. So I guess that means MTX too. I was told If I was going to buy the Xtants then I better do it before the buyout. I was very interested in Soundstream amps and Xtant subs until I heard all of this. So are we going to pay the same high price for these products while they build them with cheaper parts? How do you know What you are getting? Later
