If the industry has come to a point where Power Accoustic/Soundstream is "SQ" it's a pretty sad day.

I bought it in 2006, so don't get your audiophile ******* in a wad. It's decent, but nothing to write home about.

Jbl seems good, but just dont seem superbly crafted.

putting price aside, i haven't personally heard anything that sounds as good as my w6s, and they are 13.5s i wonder how good i could get the 10s to sound.

JBL and Infinity are partner companies, owned by the Harmon Group aka Harmon Kardon. JBL is actually one of the oldest companies involved in car audio. They have great products for a mainstream company, I have never had an issue with any of their products, they have all been very well made, including the marine mobile a/v products.

8 of pretty much any 15 will be loud. Look at the kind of builds that were going on 20 years ago (just ammount of power and quaility of woofers). Doesn't make the woofers good, just means that 1200" ^2 of cone area will eject a lot of air.

Oh, sorry I didn't mention they are doing a 155 on music sealed on the dash from behind the C pillar and sound amazing+tight while doing so.

Its pretty simple to me, Mainstream = Found in local Best Buy, Walmart, or Car Toys type store. "Underground" = Must order online or find a car audio shop that is a licensed dealer.

but yes, IMO the engineering at JBL is top notch, at least when they want it to be.
