Quality of Cadence amps?

The Cadence Z series? Must have been something wrong internally or with your install. My favorite class D was my Z1200. .04% THD and benched over 1400@1. Nothing but quality.

actually all the z series amps were ab except the z777-dg which was the d version of the z7000 which i had and loved. one of my favorite amps ever, was over 2 feet long though lol for 1500rms.

Always wanted to try the a7hc . Heard they were great amps.

It looked identical to this one and it was just a joke. claimed 200 watts and carried 15 amps of fuse. One channel of my RF 200a4 had more power and sounded better than that amp did when it was BRIDGED! LOL. nothing was wrong with it mechanically , it was just lame. My alpine headunit had almost as much power and a better sound than this amp.

I had the DCA1000 and DCA4100, both worked great for the time that I used them.

The Z1200 is a class D trust me. Im not referring to their Z1200 2 channel. Im referring to their mono block. The Z777DG is a hybrid amp which had the "SQ" of a class A/B with the efficiency of a Class D much like Bang and Olufsens IceTech.

this is an a/b amp, thats why its 20 inches long and was so big for 1200rms, look at the manual its says all the amps are the same their all a/b, i have used these amps fo years their all class a/b except the one which is class g

I have a blown A7hc that was a great amp put out some good clean power. I am going to build the box, its not going to be a easy build at all due to the limitations on size to fit under rear seat. It is going in a 2010 tundra btw.

get the a7hc repaired, was the best amp they ever made, build in america by zed audio, puts out a nasty 1400rms. its small also just do that, and it will be the perfect amp for thos sa-8's. either steve mantz at zed audio can fix it or db-r or ampmedics all great repair guys.

zed would prob be the best to have it repaired considering steve mantz designed and help build it.

ampmedics will prob be the cheapest but i have had many amps fixed by steve at ampmedics as he is only 30 minutes from me and not one has ever had to go back and he is fast and very resonable in price.

the daytonas replaced the a7hc last a7hc was built in 2002/2003

I also have a Audio art 100hc not sure if it works, worked prior to me totaling my integra 8 years ago. The AA is a wicked nice amp but loves its power when ran at 1 ohm. I remember clamping it to see what it was drawing from the electrical system not sure on exact number but was in the neighborhood of 150amps iirc.

u have all these nice amps, um ur better running them and finding a small 4 channel or 2 channel, run the 4 channel under ur front seat

sweet posions were nasty have one myself, true clean power at 4 ohms, rated at 900 but put out a lot more i can tell u. but i use to run a7hc's 4 of them, great cheater amp, one of the best 4 of them and i was still rated at 200 watts comp lol
