Quality auto sound wants to charge me $320 for the big 3 upgrade! 4 hours labor!

Qulaity auto sound says the big 3 upgrade would take 4 hours to complete is this bs or not? They want 320 bucks for it. Thats with me supplying the 0 ga cable...

It shouldn't even cost that much with THEM supplying the best 0ga on the market that's complete BS dude.

The big 3 is pretty straight forward.

What kind of car do you have?

If you want, I can hook you up with the wiring (pre-made) and I can talk you through the install on the phone. It is pretty straight forward.

have you looked at you tube? search big 3 upgrade and you can see how they do it. if the shop will do it they need to lower their price

!!!!???? WTF. if they charge that much for the big 3 then imagine how bad they are screwing you on the actual install and equipment!! i'd find anotha shop asap. even with top dollar 0gauge wire and top dollar connectors it shouldnt be more then like 30-40 bucks of parts and maybe hour tops for install. i did my civic in less then an hour and my chevy in about 1.5 hours with a 2 year old hanging on my leg the entire time.

Took me a hour on a Jeep. Its really quick and especially easy if your alt is close to the batt. Should cost like 30 for all wire and terminals.google that **** and it tells you everything!

~$80/hr is the typically hourly charge depending on the market. Most cars are charged around $80 w/o wiring or $100-120 w/. But unless you have a crazy car that requires a ton of disassembly (such as cars that have their battery in the fender that you can't easily get to). It shouldn't be more than that. That's just outrageous. To me it sounds like it's the case of pricing out the job.

Basically some shops, who either don't know how to do it, or don't want to do it, set a price so high that you won't want to do it.

for $320 and you supplying the wire, i could probably fly out there and install it for that price and still do it faster than they could. 25 minutes in the airport parking lot and still make home for lunch.

Quality auto sound and i had a misunderstanding they are great to work with so far and they said 1 hour now on the big 3 but rpetree said he would do it for free so thats awesome! Quality should do me right they are even posting pics of my install on their facebook!
