Is it possible to do big three in 02 Volvo V70XC?

I know how to do the big three and installed it on my previous car. The problem I have with the volvo is that the alt is way down almost under the engine, every single wire is encased in thick, sealed up insolation and the battery is in the back next to the spare tire. How should I go about this? I will post pics in a few

The wire from the alt to the battery looks like its 4 gauge. Im running 2k rms and trying to get away with decent voltage on the 140 amp stock alt.

I will probably end up using the wire from my old car that ran from the battery to amp and use that for the alt to battery wire.

This is the alt.

This is the positive terminal up front under the hood

This is the battery in back. The white strip of plastic is the postive that runs up front.

I have no Idea where the battery ground or the alt ground is. The engine block to frame is open and easy.

Just take the plastic off your battery and see where the wires connect lol

And you don't need alternator ground, just alternator to battery, engine ground, and battery ground.

The wire under the plastic goes up under the hood to a mess of wires all tightly bound in zip ties and insolation. I cant even see where anything is connected to the alternator.

Well you don't remove any wires, you just add to it. Take that plastic casing off around your battery, look where the ground connects and add a wire to it. Look for the positive as well

Get a flashlight and search all around your alternator. Run a wire from the battery positive to your alternator. You really aren't looking hard enough.

You may have to jack up your car and go from underneath. Or you could try googling a replacement alternator for your car and see where the connections go and then find it on yours.

Im going to have to jack it up. Everything is blocked. I can see where the nut is for the wire to the alt but I will have to do it from underneath. I cant even fit my hand down there.

just run a 0 gauge power wire from ur alt to ur batt in the trunk like you would run from batt under the hood to ur amp, ground the batt in the trunk to a good solid place, run an engine block to chasis ground, dont remove any stock wires and there u go....big 3

This has already all been said

His problem is getting access to those places. You should really read the thread before you post...

My stock batt is in trunk with no big three and a 102ah batt. 130 alt. held voltage on my dc 2.0k d@mn good
Really? I thought that my stock alt, a KHC1400, and going easy on the gain I would just hardly keep it above 13.3. Running Opti3201 @ 1 ohm.
