Ever consider that the person driving the other atv's can't drive it as well as you?
And it's YOUR opinion that that 400ex is faster. But yet any and all reasons as to why we say the 450r is faster you shoot down instantly.

Nah, I can admit I'm not the best rider. He races and I don't, plus he has rode longer than I have, so he's by far the better rider. All he did when he first got it was complain because it's not what he wanted. He was even shocked that my 400ex and YFZ out ran his because he got caught in the 450r "hype" and thought it was suppose to smoke every other quad right out of the store. That's why we had to race a few times because he couldn't believe it. Truthfully I was shocked as well when I beat him because I even thought the 450r's were suppose to be the best yet. My opinion changed.

I'm not saying the 450R's are junk, they're just not that fast stock. I didn't expect to see people get all heart broken over it.

It depends on what you want the quad for but i would go with the YFz cuz it is way better.

I have many friends and relatives who race and own quads that know their shit, I don't need to lurk message boards for info.

i'm in here kinda late, but to the guy who said 2-strokes are only good for gong fast on flat ground, have you never ridden a 250R? it only took 10+ years for quad companies to come up with something to best it

Never rode a 250r, but I have seen people ride them before.

My opinion, 2 strokes are made for racing on flat ground. They don't ride as good in the woods/hill climbing as 4 strokes do.
