Q's about tc5200 off a mojo 4kw...

so i just landed this sub via a trade, it's a quad 1.5 coil, and is presently wired down to 1.2. i wanted to get it juicing and see what this thing does, i've been dying to have one of these in my posession. my only concern is can it take the load off a 4kw at 1ohm daily? i've seen several peope run a similar setup, and they seem to have no issue and on the other hand i've heard that 4k will destroy the sub...

any input would be appreciated...

well im just going to give it a go i guess...im figuring it should be fine, i mean 6000 watt max should be able to handle 4k with no worries...unless that is like a burps only figure, which i doubt as this really isn't a sub designed for burps...

Youll be fine.. watch your gains, and youll be good to go!

Youll be koo thats 1.2 nominal, so the amp will see closer to 2ohms
