Q: What to do with amplifier crossovers when you have a DSP?

If the DSP, in this case an Audison Bit One, is sending the crossed-over frequency, slope, smf equalization to the amplifier, do I just set the amp to FULL range? Does that eliminate the crossovers of the amp? or do I need to set HP/LP filters on the amp that match the settings selected in the DSP?

Set it to full. You are correct in that it will bypass the amps crossovers. You only ever want to use one crossover at a time.

But, caveat to that is say your high pass filter is set to 4k on your dsp to your tweets. I would set the filter on your amp to maybe 3.5 or 3k so that if anything were to happen to the dsp, it would be like a second layer of protection so that you don't send some ridiculously low freqs to your tweets. And setting it that low on the amp wouldn't mess with what you have on the dsp. Just don't set them to the same freqs as you have different slopes and all that
