Q? on Ohio Generators

i just bought an alt from ohio generator and paid over the phone with the number i got off their website. i looked at my online banking and the money was sent to "A-Z Repair and Storage Council Bluff IA"...

i couldn't find anything on their website about being based out of Iowa in any way. their area code is Akron, OH and their store/factory is in Louisville, OH...

just seemed odd and i was wondering if anyone else has dealt with O.G. before and if this is normal....

no several people have...they are pretty well known...nobody likes answering questions like that on this site. ( i have a thread started recently... running that same amp...also having power issues...)

How much did this alt. cost you and what amperage is it?

i know they are well known which is why i'm hoping for a response... and what do you mean "questions like this"?

and it's a "200A". the guy on the phone said it actually produces closer to 250A and that i will get a birth sheet with the output at variable rpm speeds.... 515 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif i already had to replace my factory alt when it blew up so i figured i'd shell out some cash to make sure it doesn't happen again...

my mm3000.1 is the best amp i've ever owned. i used to run it at .25 ohms when i had my 18 all day long with low voltage, and now i run it at .5 all day long with no problems. i've had it for almost 2 years now... sorry you're having issues...

My Bank Statement Shows "OHIO GENERATOR MANUFATUR" (I Assume it got cut off)

i got a quote from there.. and it was 400 for a 225 amp alt,, and that was a month ago

Yeah, that should be more like it. Over 500 for a 200 amp alty is a little high if you ask me.
