Python 881 XP question

Hello, I have the Python 881 XP alarm in my 2000 Ford Super Duty crew cab and love it. My three year old daughter dropped my remote with keys attached in the sink full of water. I did not know they were in there until it was too late. I am purchasing a new remote but do not have a clue on how to program the new one. Car Toys installed the alarm but they are an hour drive away, so I was wondering if I could save myself some money and do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The remote will come with programming instructions. With a door open, turn the ignition on. Press the valet button once and release it then press it again and hold it. You will hear a single chirp from the alarm. Press lock on the remote and you will hear a longer chrirp. Your remote is nowmrgrammed, turn the ignition off. However you need to verify that the valet buttn is in the car as many installers are retards and donot install them
