what up all? i just got done installing my python 460 hp with my buddys. although it took us 12 hours. only kuz it was so hot and food and phone calls. and when we were getting ready to button everything back up we shorted out the main power and if caught fire so we had to re wire all of the power for the system. but when i disarm the alarm it turns on my neons in my car wich is pimp. it wasnt that hard at a ll just takes time and pacients and knowledge of relays.

congrats... i remember my first alarm install at work... ouch... and i remember my first one on a grand cherokee :-( that sucked... but glad ya finished it... hope you did all the connections correctly and don't have anything fall apart like i've seen happen

well now my chirp doesnt come on when i arm and disarm which i think is something in the valet switch kuz we were messin around tucking wire up and probly tapped the switch, no biggy

My arm/disarm chirp on my Prestige doesn't sound either but I set it that way in the custom options deal (turn the key back and forth X amount of times then press and release the valet switch Y amount of times then blah, blah, blah...) I've got the passive arming feature chosen as well (absolutely cannot forget to set the damn thing...no matter how tired I am when I get where I am going //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)

yeah ... is ur led on constant? if so then it's in valet mode...

acutually yes it is so we unplugged it how do i get it out of valet mode? we thought that when the wire burned up that it may have fused it together.

Turn ignition on... then off... then press and release the next 10 seconds...

or...

Open a door... press lock... press unlock... press lock again

i read the instruction booklet today at work and i got it out of valet mode. thanks for bringing that to my attention.
