I reeeeeally wanted to run a Pyle amp too, but just couldn't find one worthy. Lol. So, I went with my RD D5. Crazy impedance rise to 2.3 ohms, so I wasn't see "much." Hehe.
I actually bought a MBQ Discus 2k to run this setup to complete the "budget" build, but figured I would do myself a disservice by leaving the D5 on the table. Good thing too, because I was only a few tenths ahead of the guy in 4th. I have $100 in batts and $207 into these subs. Yeah, you can get pretty loud on a budget.

And FWIW, 1st and 2nd absolutley murdered the previous world record, so the Pyle's really held their own.

1st and 2nd was 160.9 and 159.8. 1st in an xcab S10 with (3) RD 15's on a D5. 2nd was (3) 18's on a D5 in a Mazda B2000 xcab. The previous world record was 157.6.

I posted about the pyle squares a while back and noone would buy them. They really are good subs for the money, are those the ones with the doublestack .75 motor and the 2" coils?
