Pyle Car Stereo

I am looking at a car stereo, but I would like to find a car stereo that has Weather band, cassette and cd player. I found 2 of the three, CD and Weather Band. But it is from Pyle, I don't anything about Pyle. Has anyone bought their car audio? Have you had any problems with them? How is the support? What kinds of problems did you have? If you are trying to find something budget friendly look into a used deck

pioneer, kenwood, and alpine all make decent entry level head units

Get a pocket scanner to cover VHF weather.

pyle is a pyle of crap i had one of there decks for about a week then it went out on me

Dual is just about the lowest end wal mart beginner products you can find. Steer clear of dual

Why not get a small scanner/CB radio to get the weather? My Cobra CB gets weather.

I would stay clear of Dual, Pyramid, Pyle..

it weather band an extension of XM like XM nav traffic?

weather band is like FM or shortwave band broadcasts that have the weather info on them.

get a cheap CB radio. almost all of them can listen in to the WX broadcasts. like everyone else said, stay away from those brands, they are all junk. what catolog are you looking at, JC whitney or something?

radio shack has some cheap $20 radios that pick up the weather
