PWK Designs - 2 Pioneer TSW30002's in a F150

I'm local and I could've designed a box just like that for half the price. And helped you build.

Sorry bout the router jig, though. I'm sad it broke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Theres a reason each port is 4in from the wall of the truck. Ive tried every type of enclosure for this truck and have never gotten this response out of it.

The 50 bucks was WELL worth the money.

That was the only split in the entire build and I managed to take a picture of it.

I turned 18 in feb, also if you are fimilar with this area, A1A is a long stretch of road about 10miles that goes through 4 towns or so and its not residental, 80% busniesses.

Also 500ft is a long way away for 1 12. Its not a matter of how much money I spent for the blueprint, I spent 50 once instead of spending 20 bucks here and there on hit and miss designs.

Total cost of the build was under 100 dollars including the blueprints.

To me thats worth the saving of trail and error.

Where do you get metered around here? I've called several shops and asked if they have a Term Lab, and they say "A term what?"
My buddy Darren @ Audio Designs. I used to work with him and am probally going to partner up with him with AD Tech.

Let me know a few days in advance, and Ill grab the TL and we can meet up somewhere.

I don't need to get metered. Just in the past I'd tried to find a place with no success. I saw your SPL score in your sig and it made me wonder.
Well I will be getting it soon because I wanna see want my new score is.

your point? There are still a lot of people including myself that could have built one just as good or better for half the price or less. Its up to you to choose who you think will know more about your vehicle when designing a box. I could never justify $50 for a design even if it was a tapered horn.

I agree, at first I didnt want to spend any money on it, I figured i can design a **** box and have built over 40 boxes for local people here. I just couldnt get it right and finally I said Ill see what happens, I had the money laying around and went for it.

Alot of my boxes where subs forward port up, subs down port up, etc etc. My biggest issue was when I rolled the windows up I lost half my freqency range and 70% of my output.

That isnt an issue anymore.

the window thing is a huge issue with single cab trucks you just need to find the right design. I play around with designs a lot in my truck but I also change setups a lot. One good one is port facing passenger wall and sub forward. I used to have one that was port forward on passenger side and subs up on driver side. Had 57.5 sq in of port and around 2 cubes after displacement for my treos and so far that has been my loudest. Still have a few tricks up my sleeve.

I'd like to hear it sometime. My system in my car has a long way to go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I still need deadening, better front speakers, a dedicated subwoofer amp, bigger power cable, and a secondary battery among other things.

I got a layer of Dynamat around the entire truck, and 8 cans of spray from in the roof, back walls, etc etc
