putting Xmas lights in my car?

that's what im wondering . i mean im all for being festive at Christmas but Christmas lights in a car come the f**k on your not serious are you .what are you trying to do make some cheap under glow if so just buy the right stuff to do it and do it right.hears another question how much crack did you have to smoke to come up with this idea its kinda like putting tweeter horns in the grill

They do make 12v christmas lights.

But standard Christmas lights operate on 110v AC.

If you connect those to your 12v DC car battery, you WILL damage something. So you need a 12v DC to 110v AC power inverter as stated above.

Maybe he is big time into LSD and the whole flower power syndrome. If anyone sees a 73 Bug with peace signs on it and Christmas tree lights, steer clear of it until he passes by!

im with the OP, its an old POS car, why not f.ck it up with some tree lights. and whatever else he wants.. i mean, its not a new, nice car.. I suggest moose antlers on the hood.. and a Loudspeaker system so u can yell at passer-bys

Ive been putting lights up in my van for 3-4 years now. I use a little 1500 watt inverter into the power plug. Then just plug them in. I currently install like 600-800 lights . Blinkers as weel. And to really get that X-mas feel, I have Yankee Candle, Like the pine tree scent one lit in the cup holder.

Yea, for real.
