Putting the family pet to sleep FTL.......

I just lost my 13 year old last sunday.

We were about to take her in, and she just passed laying in our arms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif But, I'm glad i didnt have to say goodbye and give her to someone else. She went peacefully.

It's alot harder than I imagined. Sorry about your loss man.

Hate to hear that man..I lost 3 close pets all in a year...First my favorite dog ever got distemper..than his mother got hit by a car...between their deaths my pig got pneumonia and died..I know what it feels like.

We had to put my dog down too. He was only 2. He was great with people but just went in an attack mode around other animals. But I know how it feels like too. We got another puppy that weekend. It helped too. But good luck.

I had to put mine down about 3 weeks ago. That was a VERY hard thing to do. One of, if not the hardest things I've ever done.

I didnt take her to the vet. I did some reading and saw some things I didn't like. She hated the **** vet anyway. she would freak out at that place. Why make her last memory be that?

well it's my fault for not saying in the begining "please be respectful" considering there's people like you who get off on pissing people off.

Obviously if u didn't wanna give sympathy you didn't have to, but to sit here like you're special and play it off like a family pet of 13 years is just an animal and its nothing to to be emotional over makes you retarded or pathetic or both. seriously man. Yes it's a dog, but yes it was like part of the family. here's a great idea, post up some pictures of someone close to your family (human or animal) and we can sit here and tell you your lost relative would make a great meal for some stranded plane crash survivors in the swiss mountains. i hope you get off pissing off other people, because thats all you are underneath and that makes you a compassion-less sad excuse for a man. you're 33 years old, and i bet you don't have or ever will have kids.

Had a dog get hit by a car or a truck or semi few months ago out in teh freeway...

Some people will never undertsand how much an animal can mean to someone. I had to have two dogs and two cats all put down within two years it was very hard. They all had been with us 10+ years. To the idiots that think their comments are funny it will come back to you, you will see. Anybody can talk shit over the net its easy huh. Its around 100 to put them under my sister mught have to do it to her dog pretty soon. I personally care more about my animals then many people do their friends. They are more than friends they are family. Sorry for your loss i know how it feels and its terrible
