His name was Rusty. Got him in 4th grade when he was a puppy. Kind of a beagle/hound mix. Grew up with him. Last year he went deaf, past few months he wasnt doign as well. Past few days he was uncontrolably peeing.....and sure enough it was his time. Rusty will be missed. Lived about 13 human years.

Most i can do tonight is light some candles and drink the pain away. He's in a better place

Hate to hear that man..I lost 3 close pets all in a year...First my favorite dog ever got distemper..than his mother got hit by a car...between their deaths my pig got pneumonia and died..I know what it feels like.

Tonight I'll have a drink to Rusty, right here in this thread.

Nice looking dog, with what looks like an awsome disposition.

Sorry for your loss dude.

Sorry to hear man.

I remember putting my old english springer spaniel to sleep. It was awful. It got to the point she wasn't able to walk. She was a puppy when I was a baby, it was like loosing a sister rather than a pet. I still miss her every day.

I know how it feels, one of my dogs died in the kennel this past February while my parents were up at my school for Winter Carnival. It is never a fun thing to have them die or have to put them down, but at least their pain and suffering is over.
