putting on weight

When i was in health class we recorded everything we ate for a while... Turns out im taking in about 5000 calories a day. (that doesnt mean i got the calories from healthy foods haha)
Which kinda leaves me wondering where all the cals go seeing as im not gaining weight and i dont shit that much haha the only real activities i do is play hockey and lift every other day:confused:

How old are you, how much do you weight? If your not growing your not eating enough protien and your body is using all the other calories just to sustain itself.

I am willing to bet most of that came from snacks, chips, chocolate, and sodas.

You need to be eating pork, fish, eggs, chicken stuff like that to add weight.

Im 16, i weigh about 130 now I think... Im still growing(as in height) so maybe thats it?

Your 16 and you excercise. Eat like a freakin hog...pound down the protien. Your metabolism is the highest that it probably ever will be in your lifetime. Lack of quality protien/food and your metabolism is probably whats working against you currently.

Yeah ill try to... I really only get a chance at one good meal a day, breakfast is usually small and fast, and school food lunch isnt helping. I think i could eat about 3 school meals before I would actually feel full
