I've been good friends with all the LPM's at every store I've worked except at my current job....but he's only around once a week if that.

we are in the midst of changing everything but we actually have zones, and each zone has like 2-4 cameras and you can switch between each camera in each zone. they are fixed and can't move, i can only zoom in. they haven't been updated since the mid 90's except for the few hidden ones i had installed. we are suppose to be getting dvr instead of recording this shit to vhs tapes.

So are the hidden cameras wired or they remote? And how do you hide them? Are they designed to look like something that doesn't look out of place?

what sucks about ours, you can't even split the screens into 4ths. one whole monitor per section, 9 sections in the store equals 9 monitors. now supposedly they are getting in a whole new system, which includes a dvr, and supposedly now i'm gonna be able to monitor the store on my computer screen and won't need monitors anymore. not sure how that works. i know so little about this crap. when i got the job they just told me to watch the monitors and go follow someobody if they steal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

We have roughly 30 cameras with 15 per screen. Some can swivel, some not. I wish they could move along a track.

Ah, I'm not like that, plus I think he's on his way to his own demotion from what I've heard. There's no point in talking to the GM anyhow, they are all two faced and you can't trust what they say. I've heard them be nice to someone's face and as soon as they walk away they make a comment to me about the person. I trust very few I work with and I hate the job anyway.

I can understand your view on GMs and other people you work with. I try to be mediator myself. I try not to take labors side or owners sides in running the facility I work at. I have found that the only true way to do this is to not befriend anyone.
