Putting in my 2 weeks notice

Yes indeed. With school getting a little more difficult and having a bad knee and not being able to stand up for long periods of time. I'm going to give them my notice. Especially after I heard the assistant manager is trying to get me fired because I called out of work on sunday b/c we had a war to wage. There is nothing worse than going around telling other employees that you are trying to get another employee fired, especially when you just got promoted to assistant manager from another store, and the employees you are telling are all friends of mine. So I'll be going in today to drop off my notice, and I may be leaving in the back of a police car. My guess is the assistant manager will deny it.

Lawl!
Get him fired too. Have your friends back you when talking to your GM.
Ah, I'm not like that, plus I think he's on his way to his own demotion from what I've heard. There's no point in talking to the GM anyhow, they are all two faced and you can't trust what they say. I've heard them be nice to someone's face and as soon as they walk away they make a comment to me about the person. I trust very few I work with and I hate the job anyway.

Where do you work?

I say tell the dude off and if he wants to take it outside then do what you feel. I'm not one for beating someone senseless, but a good punch to his jaw will help you feel dignified, lol.

Publix....and if I let him know that I know what he's been going around saying then I betray the people that told me. But I really want to say something...he was all nice on the phone when I told him my knee was swollen and I needed to stay off of it. Then turns around and talks smack behind my back. Not cool, especially when I stood up for him everytime the manager talks shit about him.

if their loss prevention manager is good, he shouldn't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I know where everything is, it has nothing to do with how good a LPM is. It has everything to do with gathering information and keeping your eyes peeled. Every store I have worked in I have had details of every camera, every lookout spot...etc. You know that in Macy's they can look inside the fitting rooms? If you look in the fitting rooms at a certain angle you can what's going on.

that reminds me of what I did to a guy I hated...

Me and 3 friends waited on him after work...long story short, we pulled up next to him (I was ducked out in the back). My friend in the front said "i'm fixin to shoot you" and the guy just laughed at him like the arrogant SOB he is. My friend then pulled out a freaking BB gun and the dude GUNNED it as he ducked over into the passenger side. We started laughing hysterically. Next day at work we found out he went home, made a police report, the whole 9 yards. He even pissed himself. Rumors started flying at work that it was a drug deal gone wrong...to this day only the people in the car know what really happened. I knew one of the security guards and acted concerned when asking about the cameras catching anyone...he said they didnt get anything cause they pan and weren't on that location when it happened.

Probably not the most mature thing, but it was easily worth it.

I've been good friends with all the LPM's at every store I've worked except at my current job....but he's only around once a week if that.
