Putting in a ZX2500. How much elec??

I'm still new at this and while I have an idea, I figure you guys could help further. How big of an alternator and what kind of bats? I already know of the big 3 so that'll be done. Money isn't exactly a factor. My first thoughts were a 250 amp alt, a red top under the hood and a kinetik hc2400 in the back. Help...

That would be good. I am running my zx2500 off a kinetik 1400 up front and a kinetik 2400 in the rear stock alt. My voltage drops to about 12.5. So I am sure with a bigger alt you can keep it constant at 13 volts. But anyways. Buy my zx2500!

Honestly this type question is very hard to answer. I will say that your amp is capable of drawing 300+ amps and more.

1 large battery and a nice alternator would be enough for normal daily. Also look into replacing your under the hood battery.

For daily beating I'd recommend at minimum a 200a alt. The more batteries the merrier.

I had the same amp running off of a stock 110amp alt., stock battery up front (pretty big though), get battery in back, 0/1gauge and big 3. I got no dimming at full tilt, I didn't have anything to measure voltage drop though.
