Putting fans in...

How about this:

Philips XP640 amp has a terminal in the Power, Ground, Remote block.

It is labelled "ACC + 12V" and the manual describes it as:

"Other sound components (for example active crossovers) with 'REMOTE' input can be connected to this terminal."

Is this a 12V out and could it be used to safely run a cooling fan?

Ive Always Used just One remote lead and Dasiy chained Multiple Amps off it... 5 Amps to be Exact 4 SAZ3000D's and a 100.4 Oh and My Voltage Meter....

And Never Had any problems But Also I have The remotes Running From The Ignition Wire For my truck its ALL my Remotes run off the 12G Ignition source To a Toggle swicth Then Daisy chained from One amp to the rest...

Ive been Doing this for YEARS and NO problems....

Ive NEVER used a Decks Remote So maybe thats why i have No problems.... I use 12g Remote Wire aswell...

Considering the debate was on how many pieces of equipment you could use your REM from your h/u to operate, how many you ran off your switched ignition wire really is irrelevant.
