when purchasing subwoofers what type of things should I look for???? (ie. magnet size, sensitivity, ect...???) And is it better if they are 2ohm or 4 ohm?

It depends on what you are looking for:

If you are looking for SPL, you need a driver that can handle lots of power and stand up to what it is rated and beyond. Good examples are CV Strokers, MMats Juggernauts, etc.....but do not limit yourself to this, as Lloyd has 18 RE 8's and lots of people use drivers that could function as both an SQ and SPL driver.

If you are looking for SQ, you want an efficient driver with low Q value, streamline BL, and low distortion......etc,etc,etc...

All-in-all, it's what you want.

I think the best all around subwoofer as one of your choices is the polk momo, I have experienced these and was rather pleased. They were on a RF BD1000
