pups

those probably sound extremely horrible, but i might have to buy 6 of them and do a build myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif the ohms calculations are confusing me though, can i get that down to 1.5 ohms?

no, that would be way lower with 6, 4 wired in parallel would be 1 ohm

Isobaric requires same box volume, actually the theory was you cut the box volume in half
Correct the second time. Not the same box volume, half as much. IOW, running twice as many isobaric would actually save you room. But it would cost you double the power, and twice the speaker cost as well. Not alot in this case though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was just thinkin he could run more power to them

i was thinking maybe wire 2 in series, and the rest in parallel or something like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Do you guys think 8 of these would be the equivilant of 1 decent driver on the same power?

if ou do some goofy shit like that then your woofers wont get equal amount of power

really? ive seen some done like that, or maybe the way it works is if like you have 4 subs, you can wire each pair in series, then in parallel to the amp? Thats how ive seen it. I dont have much experience wiring things in series, never dealt with more than 4 subs.

Go boom like so.

I wonder how many of the people on the forums talking about Funky Pup now are just regurgitating others' sarcasm about the woofers and don't actually know the related story?
