ps3 problems

ive tried askin on a few ps3 forums...and it figures no one knows what the problem could be. But anyways, when i try to play my ps3, the picture gets all weird. It only happens when the menus in the game are switching to a new menu, during movies, and during gameplay. but the picture gets distorted, it gets a yellow/greenish hue..and the picture jumps up and down....like the tracking on a vhs...im using the standard av cables that came with it and a regular tv. does anyone think its just my cables or could there be something wrong with the ps3 itself?

Try it on another TV? Try it with a different set of inputs on the TV?

tried it on 3 different tvs....dont have any other cables....i dont know what would be wrong with the ones i have....their not damaged, havent been abused

Sounds like its the ps3 then if you've tried it on different tv's.

ive had mine since 8 am on release day....havnt had ONE issue like that or ANY at all as a matter of fact....could technicallybe the consolue tho

try different tv's first tho

get a hdmi cable and hdmi compatible tv

if u can afford teh ps3 u can afford the tv and the cable to go with it
