Hi I am thinking about getting a ps3 and am wondering what are the best games for the system.. I know that the 360 has beter games but I really want the blue ray that the ps3 enables you to use.. What are the best games on the ps3 ..

Resistance, Resistance 2, Call of Duty 4 and 5, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, Saints Row 2, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, and GTA IV are all I can think of now. F.E.A.R 2 comes out this week and Killzone 2 come's out at the end of this month and those 2 will be great games.

Im into anything thats a legit good game.. I know I like COD5 and I will def get GTAIV.. are there any good skating games on ps3? I know I love playing Skate II on the 360

Also on the ps3 can you rent a game and save it on the hardrive and play it whenever you want without having the game?

No, that would be a copyrighting. You would need to mod the ps3 to play backups.
