Do any of you have issues using your ps3 on a 720 tv? i read a review and it said something weird happened with their 720 tv and i was just wondering if any of you had this issue too? i am debating on a new tv and plan to get a ps3 when i get the tv which is why i wonder?

here are the tv's im debating on.

they are cheap but i dont really want to spend too much right now

there is only $100 difference between the two and just wondering if i should spend the extra?(im leaning towards yes)

in that size tv there is deff a difference in the quality of the picture, normally up to a 37" tv most people cant see a diff but after that most can, and by the way good choice on the samsung i love my 32" 550 pic is awsome on everything

I've been running my ps3 on a 720P plasma for 2 years. No issues at all. Get the 1080P tv being that it's only a 100 dollar difference. THey actually do make a few games in 1080P plus the blu rays are 1080P

i have actually heard that about tvs up to that size. and yeah im a fanboy of samsung tv's. i absolutely love my parents 42" plasma.

so i should just spend the extra and get the lcd? im a bit worried about pixelation(spelling?) which is another reason im considering plasma and i also feel plasma can at times have a smoother picture than lcd.

1080p regardless games that say 1080p on ps3 are usually in 720p anyways. For a true hd gaming experience get a 1080p lcd and a xbox 360. On the other hand if you are gonna watch blurays then the ps3 is the best deal. I bought a 360 for gaming and a ps3 strictly for blu ray.

Yes. However, can you still get that TV at $799?
should be able to?

blueray is actually the reason i really want a ps3 plus i love gran turismo and can only get it on there. however forza looks pretty promising
