Protection mode

I have a power acoustic amp that just went into protection mode, and nothing is wrong with it to the eye. I went over all the circuit boards, and nothing seemed to be wrong. Yeah, power acoustic is a bit cheap but thats all i got at the moment. So, if anyone has any idea how to pull it out of protection mode, please help me. Thanks

Disconnect the speakers and try to power it up. If is powers up, the problem is either with the speakers or the wiring to the speakers. If it still doesn't power up, double check the remote (sometimes a weak turn on signal will cause a "protect") and the connections on the power and ground all the way from one end to another. You could have a loose connection that is causing a voltage drop (anothe source of "protects"). If none of those are the problem, there is something internally wrong with the amp.

Make sure your speaker leads aren't crossed or are touching in any way. My MBQ is super sensitive to it and will go into protection very easily if this happens. It drove me mad for a few days before I actually figured it out. For me the problem occured right next to the terminals on the amp itself.

Hope this helps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
