Protection mode problem

Okay so I have everything wired correctly, checked everything over 6-10times. Ground is good. Unplugged the speakers to check and still protection mode. It isnt a faulty amp because I hooked it up to a computer CPU and it runs and sounds great.. Turned the gains down all the way still red. What could this be? RCA's are fine also, and the remote wire may be the cause im not sure. I have it hooked up to a cigarette lighter fuse so the amp turns off and on with the key. I tried the bypass of the remote wire and no light at all. Im stumped! Someone help asap I want my system to work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

voltage is the problem. just how small of wire are you talking about. I would start at the battery and test down the line and find where the voltage drops. My guess is the fuse holder. also double check grounds at the amp with the meter.

Using 11gauge wire, But not worries anymore im selling the system friday and getting a brand new one. My old system never had problems with the smaller sized wire and ground so I assumed it would have worked with the same size amp and a little bigger subs.
