protect light is on, why?

My amp was hooked up and worked fine for a few days and now the protect light is on. I have a one 10" alpine type R and a cheap 2 channel legacy amp that is 150 X 2 @ 4 ohms. I had the amp brigded, and my sub is a 2 ohm dvc that i had wired to 4 ohms. All the wires are correct and tight any ideas what it could be?

You may have a blown fuse some where.
