please help with wiring ????

ok i have a infinity 12" 1230w sub...its 4 ohms.....i have a auidobahn A8000T amp powering it....i want to get a 2nd 12" so i can run the amp at 2 ohms......it supposed to put out around 800 watts at 2 ohms.....my question is...when i run the sub wires inside the box...can i use regular speaker wire or do i need to purchase a bigger gauge? im a newbie so please help

12-16 gauge speaker wire will work fine.

12-16 gauge speaker wire will work fine.

x2 for your app. you should be fine running anywhere from 12-16. All you need to do to load it down is purchase another identical sub and you'll be in business.
